HAPPY CLOTHES:
a film about Patricia Field
a film about Patricia Field
Greenwich/ Zero Point Zero Production
Editor
Feature documentary
Collaborated w/ director, Michael Selditch, on overall structure incorporating about 100 hours of new footage and 200 hours of archival footage culled from raw, personal, journalistic, and historical sources to tell a story that spans 80 years
Researched several characters that were important friends and influencers in Ms. Field’s life
Created an editorial style called “Story by Proxy” in which anecdotes were told through a deliberate misuse of footage (for example: using shots from The Devil Wears Prada to tell a true story that happened between Meryl Streep and Ms. Field)
Scored the entire feature using primarily stems from music library, creating a mix of sounds that often differed greatly from the original mixes
