Meet husband and wife design team Bob and Cortney Novogratz, owners of the NYC-based firm, Sixx Design, and parents to six kids, with one on the way. The couple is widely known in New York for their uncanny ability to renovate and sell sumptuous homes in the city, (that is after they've lived in them for a while).
This family thrives on change. The audience needs to not only enjoy the chaos, but be thrust into the middle of it. As Chief editor of this Pilot episode I had 4 mandatory expositional plates to spin: their occupation, their aesthetic, their family, and most importantly, their VIBE. I constantly keep the plates from wobbling and falling through editorial tricks like ending one beat with the launch of a new one and liberal use of the often-underrated reaction shot-
